Fancy Free - Vine Magic Berry (Van Gogh)

I have a love of wide-open spaces. Horizons that seem forever away! Roads that disappear into the distance. A scene of simplicity on the vast flat plain. Journeying on my Solo Adventures, especially in the Outback and Northern end of Australia, my mind becomes open to all possibilities and creativity is heightened and free of inhibitions. Dreamy colours melt my heart. The road turns from hazy greys to sandy shades. Rich vivid red and orange earth on the sides of the road are enhanced by the surrounding landscape of subdued pale-corns, and the occasional soft grey blue greens of sparse foliage. Chalky white leaves shimmer for attention on wiry weathered spindly branches. The scene I feel so connected to, is framed by a wide faded fancy free blue sky. It’s remote, and stunningly alluring.
